About SSH

As SSH owner, Kaitlynn, I’ve always been a horse gal. I attended The University of Montana Western, where I earned a BS in Natural Horsemanship with a minor in Instruction, a BAS with an emphasis in Business Administration, and an AAS in Equine Studies. I interned guiding trail rides and teaching lessons.

I started Silver Spurs Horsemanship my senior year, and take in clients and their horses, while also working with my own horses - Dory, Nala, Pilgrim, and Faith (as pictured).

I have such a passion for seeing the lightbulb come on with my lesson clients and teaching riders how to be soft on their horses. I have a soft spot for working with nervous horses that need a little extra TLC to trust people and get a good foundation. I love seeing the excitement in owners when they see the improvements made before they take their horses home again.

I use natural horsemanship training philosophies and focuses on big releases and being as soft as possible while holding firm expectations for the horses to learn. Each horse is loved like my own the duration of their training. I look forward to meeting you and working with you and your horses!
